2021 – Vedant Motamarri (doing PhD in Cambridge),
2019 – Weichen Tang (doing PhD in Berkeley),
2018 – Pavel Nosov (defended his PhD in Stanford in 2024, now in Harvard),
2017 – Avinash Mandaiya (defended his PhD in Cornell in 2025, now at DESY).

Before that, I mentored 5 PhD students, 2 experimental ones in Aalto, 2 theoretical ones, visiting MPIPKS, and one, visiting Nordita. One of experimental ones, Shilpi Singh, works at Microsoft Quantum Lab Delft. Another is a founder of a robotic spin-off Athena Integrated Systems in Toronto.
